I had recently moved into my new house, mostly due to the fact that my old house was starting to become dilapidated and the structural integrity of the house seemed like it might collapse in a few more years. I also had a minor problem of my bathroom tap trickling water all the time. I tried calling several plumbers to try to fix the problem, but to no avail.

I put my house up for sale and to my surprise a young couple actually bought it. They said they had nowhere else to go since all the other houses in the area were way too expensive for them to afford, so I happily gave them the house, no qualms at all.

After 6 months I decided to see how my old house was doing to appease my feeling of nostalgia. I drove up to the house and knocked on the door to see if anyone was there. To my surprise the door opened, it wasn't locked. I thought that they just forgot to lock the door today, so I went inside. The inside of the house looked really old and dusty, as if nobody has been in this house for a while. An unnerving feeling got into my mind as I kept on walking through; I just noticed that none of the lights have been turned on besides the light in the bathroom. My mind was saying “get out of here and run now!” over and over in my head, but curiosity got the better of me. I put my ear against the door to see if I could hear anything. All I heard was the distinct trickling noise of the bathroom tap. I opened the door. I found that it was trickling.

Trickling blood.
